Nomination Statement
Utilizing strong determination and leadership abilities, Armaan Zahid heads his class, holds leadership positions for multiple school clubs, and participates in many other extracurricular activities. Armaan is a four-year member of the Robotics (secretary) and Esports (president) clubs. He is also a three-year member of the National Honor Society with more than 20 volunteer hours. To classmates, Armaan is a hard-working leader embodying all the right qualities of a classmate/friend. In his spare time, he enjoys nature photography, studying programming, and playing video games. Armaan plans on attending the University of Delaware majoring in computer science.
“Before my father passed away, he always believed in my academic skills. As a result, I have always felt the need to fulfill his expectations and make him proud. Even though I have faced many personal hardships throughout the course of my academic classes, I always overcome these challenges through the motivation that derives from my father. Luckily, through the support of my family, I am able to thrive and find what I need to succeed academically.”
