Nomination Statement
Daughter of Wayne and Toby Kish, Allison is ranked third in her graduating class with a 4.481 cumulative GPA at the end of her junior year. Allison earned the AP Scholars Distinction in July 2022. Allison serves many roles including Co-President of HOSA, Girl Scouts Ambassador, Best Buddies member, varsity swim team member, orchestra, and National Honor Society. Allison accomplished Blue Hen Conference All Academic honors, placed 2nd in HOSA epidemiology and 8th place internationally in the HOSA Community Awareness Event. Allison plans on attending a four-year college in the fall and major in biochemistry.
“My friends and family have always thought it was funny when I would get excited about learning seemingly minor concepts. However, this excitement has motivated me to work hard. There are always more problems to solve, more discoveries to make, more books to read. Learning just one more concept in this endless field of knowledge is fascinating. I will never know everything but, I can certainly allow this desire to influence me to work hard and enjoy life.”
