Nomination Statement
Abigail Betts, child of April and Dean Betts of Lewes, is a scholar, artist, athlete, and active community member. She is ranked first in her class with a 4.178 GPA. Abby is enrolled in the Academic Challenge Program through Delaware Technical Community College and has earned over 20 college credits to date. She is a member of her school’s mock trial team, swim team, NHS, NAHS, DECA, and French Club and participates in the DCF’s Youth Philanthropy Board. Abby has yet to commit to a university but plans to major in neuroscience and continue her education in the arts.
