Nomination Statement
Son of EJ Bliey and Elisabeth Cope, Miles is an amazing young man who works hard in and out of the classroom. He is first in his class with a GPA of 4.65. Throughout his high school career he has taken over 15 Advanced Placement courses. Even with this rigorous course load he still managed to actively participate in football, indoor and outdoor track, soccer and cross country. Miles also serves as the vice president of the Science National Honor Society and a member of TSA. Miles plans to pursue a degree in computational biology.
“From a young age, I’ve had a wide variety of interests ranging from sports to math, science, environmentalism, and more. Thankfully, I’ve also had a great community, both in and out of school, that encouraged me to explore those interests and find more. Without my friends, schoolmates, teammates, teachers, mentors, and especially my parents, I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish as much I have been able to. So, to all who have helped me along the way: Thank You!”
