Nomination Statement
Nathan Alpen is an engaged and persistent student. He wants to be the best in whatever he does and and always tries to achieve excellence. He is ranked 1st in his graduating class with a 4.46 cumulative GPA. He is active in his school's media program, and has taken multiple Advanced Placement courses. Also, he attended the Governors School for Excellence at the University of Delaware the summer going into his junior year. Nathan plans to major in business at the University of Delaware and is excited for what his future holds.
“Ever since kindergarten my mom has always pushed me to do the best in school. She always says ‘I don't care what your grade is, as long as you try your best.’ I've always taken that to heart in anything that I do. As long as I try my best, life will take me where I want to go.”
