Nomination Statement
Carter Geffe, the son of Suzanne Pratt and Kevin Geffe, is a leader in student council and throughout our school community. Carter excels in academic achievement, community service, and contributing thoughtful ideas that strengthen school culture. He is a dedicated volunteer with a strong commitment to helping others and leads with integrity, humility, and responsibility. Carter’s post-secondary plans are to attend college and then enter the nursing field, becoming an emergency room nurse, where he will continue his commitment to serving others.
“My biggest motivator throughout high school has been chasing self-satisfaction. While some people focus heavily on external validation, I’ve focused instead on being content with who I am as a student and as a person. My success is centered in my authenticity and ability to love myself and the world around me. Each day that I feel content in who I’m becoming is a day that I’ve succeeded, no matter any failures or setbacks I encountered.”
