“My mom was the force behind my early academic growth, bringing home articles and assignments that pushed me to read, reflect, and write. In fifth grade, a project about future colleges shifted that motivation inward as I decided I was truly college-bound. From then on, I became self-driven, pushing myself to improve my grades and stay focused, fueled by determination, independence, and a clear vision for my future.”
