Nomination Statement
William Easterday, son of Nathan and Jennifer Easterday of Middletown, is a top scholar who consistently earns distinguished honors, standing at the very top of his class. As cofounder of the Bad Wolf Chess Club and president of the St. Georges ESports Club, he demonstrates leadership and passion. He also serves as chair of the Tutoring Committee for the National Honor Society and assistant coach for MOT Middle School. William, known for his intelligence, work ethic, and drive, plans to study software engineering in college.
“'Persevere'. I have always lived by that word. When I learned of it in preschool, I was taught that giving up or giving only a part of yourself was never an option. That day, I unknowingly pledged myself to this mentality, putting my whole life into motion. When obstacles and challenges came my way, my family and friends pushed me to keep going, never give up, and persevere over any obstacle. I am very grateful for them.”
