Nomination Statement
Son of Amanda Ellifritz, Michael Ellifritz and Jonathan Bell, Warren Ellifritz is a dedicated and charismatic student. Warren has truly become a part of the Freire family, as he has continued to embrace our college preparatory and non-violence centered mission. Warren has a 4.0 GPA and is taking several additional Advanced Placement independent study classes along with a full course load of AP and honor classes. He has participated in several activities such as our Multicultural Club while also working part-time. After Freire, Warren will attend University Delaware as a World Scholar studying geography.
“Throughout my academic career my mother was the most important motivator, always expecting my best. She always pushed me, saying that I need to make it further than her and my father since only one of them finished high school. Initially, this felt like a burden on my shoulders, but despite that feeling, I learned how to turn it into a positive mindset allowing me to understand the importance of academic success and the benefits it provides.”
