Nomination Statement
Kayleigh, the daughter of Eric Vodvarka and Stephanie Vodvarka both of Bridgeville, is a hardworking and involved student. She currently has a 103.9% GPA. She is the student representative on the school board. She plays field hockey and soccer, and was captain of the field hockey team. She is active in National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and Fellowship for Christian athletes. Kayleigh balances her dedication to academics with her consistent participation in sports and active participation in church. She plans to study exercise science in college after graduation.
“Proverbs 24:16 states, "for the righteous man falls seven times, but rises again." This verse has served as a guide throughout my life in times of adversity or hardship whether athletically, academically, or in my personal life. It's also served as a reminder to treat others with kindness, compassion, and mercy as they too are humans facing their own challenges. This mindset has allowed me to connect with a variety of people and to find success in all I do.”
