Nomination Statement
Son of Douglas and Kristina Troskey of Newark, Hunter is ranked at the top of his class. As captain of both the varsity tennis team and Science Olympiad team, Hunter actively contributes to school activities, including Math League, Interact Club, and the National Honor Society with notable honors such as being a delegate to Boys State and an AP Scholar with Distinction. His community service focus was on food insecurity. Hunter also promotes STEM education by leading outreach programs as a STEM ambassador. Hunter plans to major in accounting.
