Nomination Statement
Kari Lindquist is the daughter of Renee and Jeremy Lindquist. Kari's 98.98 GPA and top 4 rank, while completing 11 Advanced Placement courses and one dual enrollment course, demonstrate her passion for learning. Kari is a leader of several school and community groups, and she participates in several others. Her selection to the Superintendent's Student Council demonstrates the trust our faculty has in her. She has been recognized as an AP Scholar and is a member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa, and the Science and National Technical honor societies. Kari will pursue a career in chemical engineering.
“I have always found support from my parents both academically and personally. My parents push me to do my best in everything I do. However, academics is not the most important thing, and they help me step away to center myself when I am working too hard, whether it is through chores or fun activities like baking. I owe it to them that I never gave up on myself, have a good work-life balance, and keep striving for excellence.”
