Nomination Statement
The daughter of Michelle and Breck Smith of Magnolia, Rachel Smith is an outstanding student and a fantastic person. She is a four-year member of band and a member of the National Honor Society. Rachel excels in the classroom and is a phenomenal role model for her classmates. Rachel challenges herself by taking many advanced and Advanced Placement courses. She is a scholar and an athlete ranked second out of 503 seniors with a 99.56 GPA. Her leadership in field hockey was appreciated by her teammates and coaches. Rachel plans on attending the University of Delaware, majoring in engineering.
