Nomination Statement
Daughter of Michelle and Thomas Fox, Olivia Elizabeth Fox is determined, diligent, and has natural leadership qualities. She is an International Baccalaureate Diploma student and currently has a 4.60 cumulative grade point average. Olivia is extremely active in extracurricular activities; she plays both varsity volleyball and tennis and is president of National Honor Society and Student Government. She has not yet decided on the college she will attend but knows she wants to obtain degrees in food science. Her ultimate goal when she is a food scientist is to specialize in sustainable agriculture.
“Without a doubt, my mother has always been my biggest supporter. She has always preached to me to try my best no matter the circumstances and has made it transparent that failing is okay, as long as you get back up and try again. With that said, my biggest motivation for academic success is to work towards my greater cause of feeding America. So, to get through every difficult class, I remember what it is all for.”
