Nomination Statement
Jonathan Pei demonstrates excellence in everything he is involved in -- both in school and in the community. Graduating first in his class, Jonathan has taken the maximum number of Advanced Placement courses. Jonathan has scored among the top in national exams in mathematics and physics and spends his time outside of school conducting physics research at the University of Delaware, independently studying and teaching physics in his high school, and volunteering at summer camps in engineering. Jonathan will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall to continue his study of mathematics and physics.

I will always be grateful for my family and friends who have encouraged me to pursue my interests, and I am also fortunate to have had dedicated teachers at Brandywine who have provided me with invaluable guidance and support. I am excited to be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall and to continue studying mathematics.”
