Nomination Statement
Dhara Nakrani is a stellar student. She is the secretary of the National Honor Society, co-president of Key Club and participates in the drama club. When not in school, Dhara likes to volunteer at the Blood Bank and Tidal Health. She is amongst the top of her class and maintains high grades in all of her courses. She is enrolled in the most academically challenging classes Delmar has. Her ability to maintain such high standards while being involved in so many activities speaks to her work ethic.
“I am driven by challenge. Growing up, my parents taught me that everyone faces challenges in life and that it's a matter of facing them and using them to your advantage. I have let their advice guide me, whether it's taking a few difficult classes or being a good role model for my younger siblings. They have taught me to never define my future success, but rather to take one step closer to it with each challenge I encounter.”
