Nomination Statement
Anand John is an intellectually curious and hard-working student. Anand demonstrates excellence in everything he does, both in the classroom and in the community. An Eagle Scout, Anand is ranked second in his graduating class. Anand excels in all his subjects but specifically in the areas of math and science. Anand is ranked among the top 25 students nationwide in computer science according to the USA Computing Olympiad and has been awarded numerous distinctions in math and physics at the state and national levels. Anand will be attending MIT in the fall to study electrical engineering and computer science."
