Nomination Statement
The daughter of Tracie and Todd Principe, Alex is an academic rock star! Alex successfully navigated 10 dual enrollment classes, four Advanced Placement classes and 11 honors courses, earning straight A’s across the board! The end result is a GPA of 5.125 and the No. 1 ranking in the Class of 2023. Thankful for her network of supporters, Alex has never let the fear of failure stop her from reaching her full potential.
“Throughout my time at school, I have often been faced with a strong fear of failing not only my loved ones, but myself. Oftentimes this fear has paralyzed me, preventing me from taking the next step. However, with the support of my family, friends, and school staff, I faced my fears head-on, and achieved personal and academic success in my life. The people around me always help me remember to take a deep breath and to remain optimistic despite everything.”
