Nomination Statement
Andrew has been involved in the International Baccalaureate Programme since ninth grade and has continued to achieve a high level of academic success. He is well respected by his teachers, peers and was elected as the Class of 2025 president. During his high school career, he has been active in Symphonic Band and is a multisport varsity athlete who leads by setting positive examples for his teammates. Andrew intends to study environmental sciences in college.
“Throughout my academic career, my parents have been my biggest motivation and pushed me to be the best version of myself, both academically and personally. They have done this not through constant pressure, but through supporting me in what I have chosen to accomplish. My biggest motivation, however, comes from seeing the examples of work ethic and dedication that my parents have provided in their own lives and the lessons from this that they have imparted on me.”
