In addition to meeting any requirements as set forth by the hiring education authority, the following individuals are required to meet and hold a license from the <a href=\"https:\/\/dpr.delaware.gov\/\">Delaware Division of Professional Regulations<\/a> in order to work in Delaware.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Speech pathologists<\/li>\n<li>Audiologists<\/li>\n<li>Occupational Therapists<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These professional licensees are not required to hold an education license or certification through the Department of Education.<\/p>\n<p>Professional Licensees are not required to register in DEEDS. However, registration in DEEDS is required to process national certification stipend requests. Licensees should visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/education.delaware.gov\/legacy\/page\/3482\">National Certification and Stipends<\/a> page for more information.<\/p>\n<p>School Nurses are also required to hold a valid and current license from the <a href=\"https:\/\/dpr.delaware.gov\/\">Delaware Division of Professional Regulations<\/a>. In addition, School Nurses must hold an education license and certification through the Department of Education.
