If I graduated from a traditional high school with an early childhood pathway, how can I qualify for Early Childhood Teacher?

If you graduated after 2017 with a complete traditional high school early childhood pathway from a Delaware public high school, you do not need to complete 120 training hours to become an Early Childhood Teacher. You will only need to complete an additional 60 CDA hours including the specific hours listed below in the specific content areas:

• Content Area 1: 1 hours
• Content Area 3: 10 hours
• Content Area 4: 4 hours
• Content Area 5: 10 hours
• Content Area 6: 4 hours

If you graduated from a traditional Delaware public high school between the years of 2007 to 2017, you will now qualify for Early Childhood Teacher with a completed early childhood pathway.
