Instruction Partners
Instruction Partners strengthens instructional leadership in schools, systems, and states to ensure teachers have the support they need to improve instruction and student outcomes-especially for students of color, multilingual learners, students experiencing poverty, and students with disabilities. We provide tailored support in curriculum implementation, professional learning, and leadership development. Our shoulder-to-shoulder approach sets us apart, as we customize support to each partner’s context to drive sustainable instructional improvement.

About Our Team
Instruction Partners has over 80 facilitators and coaches, including Directors, Associate Directors, and Content Leads, who provide direct coaching and professional learning to teachers and school leaders. Our team are former state, school, and system leaders with deep experience in content, curriculum, and leading initiatives and change at scale. More than half of our facilitators and coaches come from historically underrepresented backgrounds, bringing a range of experiences and perspectives that enhance our ability to support schools and systems effectively.
Service Overview
Instruction Partners provides curriculum-based professional learning and leadership development services approved by the Delaware Department of Education. We support schools and systems in implementing high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) through job-embedded coaching, content-specific professional learning, and leadership capacity-building. Our services include planning and facilitating teacher professional learning, supporting instructional leadership teams, strengthening observation and feedback systems, and helping leaders monitor and improve instruction. We tailor our approach to each partner’s context, working shoulder to shoulder to ensure that all students-especially those historically underserved-receive access to great teaching and rigorous, grade-level content.
Building District Capacity
Effective teaching, engaged students, and rigorous content drive learning. We work alongside district and school leaders to catalyze instructional improvement, ensuring all students have access to high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) and the support to use them well. We build leader capacity to develop a vision for instruction, monitor HQIM implementation, plan for improvement, and lead change. Our support includes observing content-specific instruction, strengthening teacher planning, and internalization. Our Curriculum Support Guide (https://curriculumsupport.org/) outlines our approach to building systemwide capacity and coherence across all stakeholders-from central office leaders to classroom teachers.
Addressing Equity
Instruction Partners works shoulder to shoulder with educators to support great teaching and accelerate student learning. We ensure equitable access to high-quality instruction for students in poverty, students of color, multilingual learners, and students with disabilities. Our work centers the experiences of historically marginalized students and supports partners in examining how equity connects to access to grade-level content, content focus, and student affirmation. Through our content-based professional learning, we highlight the impact of educator mindsets and provide real-time opportunities for participants to reflect on bias and strengthen instructional practices for all students.
