The Institute for Learning

We empower educators and districts through collaborative professional learning. We grow content knowledge and foster dynamic learning opportunities, providing resources for potent, talk-based instruction. We are the creators behind Accountable Talk and the renowned math intervention, SOAR (Supporting Ongoing Achievement Responsively). Our distinction lies in our unwavering, research-backed belief that every student is capable of high achievement through cognitively demanding tasks. We build equitable, sustainable change through asset-based partnerships, continually learning with our partners.
