Building District Capacity

EL Education’s approach to professional learning, coaching, and leadership development is grounded in respect for leaders and teachers as creative agents in their district, classrooms, and community. We build their capacity to ignite each student’s motivation, persistence, and compassion to propel growth and success in school, college, career, and life. Our definition of student success combines academic achievement, character, and high-quality work. We believe that academic success is built on strong character qualities of collaboration, perseverance, responsibility, and compassion, and that character is shaped by engaging and challenging academic work.

Addressing Equity

EL Education provides professional learning, equipping educators to meet the diverse needs of all learners, especially students with disabilities, multilingual learners, and students with unfinished learning. Grounded in research and aligned to high-quality instructional materials (HQIM), EL Education’s PL helps teachers build inclusive, equitable classrooms where all students can thrive.

Sessions are designed for teachers, coaches, and leaders. They focus on responsive instructional practices, data-informed decision-making, and strategies for scaffolding instruction within the core curriculum. Educators learn how to leverage embedded supports in the curriculum, make accommodations and modifications, and plan proactively using formative data and student profiles, including IEPs.
