Comprehensive Induction Program

Professional learning opportunities to meet the 15-hour professional learning requirement of the Comprehensive Induction Program (CIP)

Mentors and Mentees should add their completion documentation to their Educator Dashboard in DEEDS using the following steps:

• Log-in to DEEDS; you will be on the Educator Dashboard
• Click the “View/Update My File” button
• Click the “Documents” button
• Scroll to the bottom of the screen
• In the “Document Type” field choose from the options that begin with “Mentoring PL”
• In the “File Description” field type in the title of the professional learning completed and the number of hours earned
• Use the gray box to drop in or click to select the documentation file to upload
• Click the green “Click here to complete Upload” button
• The entry should now appear in the list of files. In addition, the documentation may need to be provided to the Induction Coach or Induction Coordinator
