DIAA Volleyball Finals Set for Monday, November 15, 2021<\/b><\/p>\n

Dover, DE<\/b> (November 12, 2021) \u2013 In last night’s volleyball semifinals<\/span>, Saint Mark’s and Padua Academy secured their spots in the DIAA volleyball finals on Monday night in what is a rematch of the 2020 and 2019 title game.\u00a0 Saint Mark’s is currently undefeated on the season and will seek a back to back championship against familiar foe Padua Academy.\u00a0 Padua won their last state championship in 2019.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Volleyball Semifinals – Results<\/b><\/p>\n

#1 Saint Mark\u2019s def #5 Newark Charter (25-14, 25-15, 25-22).<\/span><\/p>\n

#2 Padua def #6 Wilmington Friends (25-18, 25-22, 25-17).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is Wilmington Friend’s third straight appearance in the consolation game battling for 3rd place.\u00a0 In 2020, they were defeated by Delaware Military Academy and in 2019, the Quakers beating Ursuline Academy to finish 3rd.<\/p>\n
