Dover, DE \u2014 November 29 \u2014<\/strong><\/span>The Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association (DIAA) proudly announces the 2025 DIAA Class 2A and 1A Football State Champions.<\/span><\/p>\n

CLASS 2A FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS – RED LION CHRISTIAN ACADEMY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In an unforgettable championship battle, No. 3 Red Lion Christian Academy emerged victorious in double overtime with a thrilling 22\u201321 win over No. 1 Indian River High School.<\/span><\/p>\n

CLASS 1A FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS – SEAFORD HIGH SCHOOL<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

No. 1 Seaford High School captured the championship in a hard-fought battle, edging No. 5 Newark Charter School in a 21\u201320 overtime victory.<\/span><\/p>\n

DIAA extends its sincere appreciation to the Football Committee for their dedication and leadership throughout the season. We graciously thank Delaware State University for serving as the host site for this year\u2019s championship games<\/span><\/p>\n

Congratulations to all teams who competed in the 2025 DIAA Football State Tournament. We commend every student-athlete, coach, and school for their hard work, sportsmanship, and perseverance this season. Thank you to the families, fans, and supporters whose energy and enthusiasm helped make this year’s tournament a memorable one.<\/span><\/p>\n
