To do so, complete the online form for the sport or event you wish to cover.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Credential requests must be submitted by the specified deadline.<\/li>\n<li>You will receive an email notifying you if your request has been approved or denied.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Credential Request Deadlines:<\/span><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Fall State Tournaments &#8211; October 1st<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Winter State Tournaments &#8211; February 1st<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Spring Tournaments &#8211; April 1st<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Media Credential Policy for Student Photographers:&nbsp;<\/strong>Please note that DIAA does not issue media credentials to individuals under 18 years of age. Student photographers interested in covering DIAA tournament events must be appointed as a school media representative by their school\u2019s Athletic Director. The appointed student&#8217;s name must be submitted to DIAA for approval prior to the start of the tournament. By accepting and using this credential, the bearer and their outlet agrees to abide by DIAA policies and regulations. DIAA <\/span><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">reserves the right to refuse credential requests from any entity whose coverage or conduct is deemed unprofessional or not in the best interest of our student-athletes. The credential may be revoked or removed at any time at the sole discretion of the DIAA.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/education.delaware.gov\/diaa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/09\/Prohibition-of-Drones-and-Similary-Flying-Devices-Policy.pdf\">DRONE POLICY: Ban on the Use of Drones and Similar Flying Devices at DIAA Athletic Contests and Events<\/a>&nbsp;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><a href=\"https:\/\/education.delaware.gov\/diaa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/11\/DIAAFootballTournamentMediaGuidelines.pdf\">DIAA Football State Tournament &#8211; Media Guidelines<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;font-size: 18pt\"><b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Broadcasting and Live Streaming Policy for DIAA State Tournaments<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Exclusive Rights:<\/b>&nbsp;The DIAA retains exclusive broadcasting rights to all tournament games through the NFHS Network. No party may broadcast or stream these games without the explicit consent of the DIAA Executive Director. This policy applies to hosting home schools&nbsp;and the use of their streaming cameras or platforms.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Live Streaming Requests:<\/b> Any requests to broadcast a state tournament game via Internet live stream, television, or radio must be submitted to the DIAA office for approval. Requests must be sent via email to DIAA Marketing Coordinator caitlin.finkley@doe.k12.de.us no later than three (3) days prior to the event. <\/span><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><span style=\"color: #000000\">Please note that a broadcasting rights fee may apply, and additional time may be required for approval if a contract is needed\u2014particularly for external media outlets. Early communication is strongly encouraged.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\"><b>Prohibited Streaming:<\/b>&nbsp;Any unauthorized individual streaming of a tournament contest is strictly prohibited. Such actions directly violate DIAA\u2019s contract with the NFHS Network.
