He is an International Baccalaureate Certificate and Academic Challenge student while also taking additional courses through the University of Delaware. Garth has been a member of the school swim team since freshman year and competes on a community swim team as well. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and volunteers with the IRSD Arts Festival and Habitat for Humanity.
