While attending Delmar High School, Mustafa has been taking dual enrollment classes at a local college. This has enabled Mustafa to earn an associates degree at the same time he earns his high school diploma. He is ranked at the top of his class with an astonishing 4.9 GPA. Outside of his academics, Mustafa has been a part of the chess club and an award-winning member of the BPA. Even while accomplishing all of this, Mustafa remains humble and is a pleasure to be around. After graduation, Mustafa plans to study electrical engineering.\n\t<\/div>\t\t<div class=\"grid-item grid-item-med logo\">\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/education.delaware.gov\/award-programs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/04\/delmar_high_school.jpg\" alt=\"Logo of Delmar High School\">\n\t\t<\/div>\t\t<div class=\"grid-item grid-item-med personal\">\n\t\t\t&ldquo;I witnessed firsthand the disparities in our healthcare system during my grandfather's battle with cancer. His death became my strongest motivation to pursue an unconventional path - electrical engineering followed by medicine. By combining these disciplines, I aim to harness the power of new technologies, specifically artificial intelligence, to make healthcare more equitable and accessible.
