Her computer vision algorithm for automating the tracking of dynamics in prokaryotic cells - published in The Young Researcher and recognized as a finalist at the International BioGENEius competition - addresses a longstanding challenge in bacterial research with stirring accuracy. At MIT's RSI summer program, she developed a computational model to analyze 3D images of dental patients to influence healing outcomes. My family, who have echoed these principles, have been the central pillar of support in my life - driving me to tennis games, attending my science presentations, and giving honest feedback when I needed it most.
