A leader in his chosen areas, each of Irwin's extracurricular activities is a reflection of his academic and personal interests. He is a multi-medalist and captain of the Science Olympiad team, co-president of the Asian Student Association, a Model U.N. senior leader, and National Honor Society secretary. I can't say I loved all of high school, but finding joy in chemistry and clubs made the years fly by. I'm thankful for my peers and mentors whose infectious passion made me love STEM just as much as they did.
