Laney is involved in FFA where she is the vice president, National Honor Society where she is the secretary, National Technical Honor Society, Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, AMES United Methodist Church youth group member, field hockey and softball. She maintains her high GPA and class rank by taking Advanced Placement and dual enrollment courses at Woodbridge High school while also maintaining her busy extracurricular schedule. Modeling her behavior, I always push myself to excel in academics and sports. She placed a competitive drive in me and taught me many valuable skills, in life and on the field.
