Layna is a varsity captain of the field hockey and soccer teams and was named a Scholar Athlete, an MVP, and chosen for Academic All-Conference teams. Layna volunteers with the Interact Club and National Honor Society, and serves as a class senator and executive board historian in student government. Academically, Layna relentlessly challenges herself with the most rigorous classes. Layna plans to pursue a degree in elementary education at Delaware Tech.\n\t<\/div>\t\t<div class=\"grid-item grid-item-med logo\">\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"280\" src=\"https:\/\/education.delaware.gov\/award-programs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2023\/04\/milford_high_school.jpg\" alt=\"Logo of Milford High School\">\n\t\t<\/div>\t\t<div class=\"grid-item grid-item-med personal\">\n\t\t\t&ldquo;Ever since I was little, I have had a competitive spirit which has pushed me to be my best, both academically and athletically. I constantly push myself and my teammates to the limits so that we are the strongest we can be. Yet, I am still always their biggest cheerleader and pride myself in lifting people up.
