Nomination Statement<\/h2>\n

“Sydney Weinkam is a hard-working, intellectual, self-motivated, and friendly senior at Woodbridge High School. She is currently ranked the top of her senior class and maintains this rank with her rigorous class schedule including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses. When Sydney is not participating in the classroom, she is a dedicated and passionate member of the Woodbridge High School’s theater company and marching band. Sydney plans to attend Salisbury University and major in political science. ”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

“There are things in life that are out of our control. Circumstances and other phenomenon can determine our path, a fact which I resent. I can control only so many things in my life; my success in school is one such thing. I don’t like having a path chosen for me, and so I am constantly motivated to excel in order to succeed on my own terms.
