Nomination Statement<\/h2>\n

“Andrea is 3rd in her class with a GPA of 4.59. She has exceled in Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Dual Enrollment courses through Delaware Tech. She is a member of the National Honor Society and volunteers her time with Habitat for Humanity and the Shepherd’s Office. Andrea has demonstrated leadership in managing the swim team and being secretary in the Student Council. She has earned numerous academic achievement awards. Andrea is an ambitious and resilient young lady. She works hard achieving top grades in her classes while always holding a part-time job.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

“One of the things that have inspired me to succeed is my father and his story. He immigrated from Costa Rica to the United States alone at age 17, leaving most of his family behind. Since then, he has worked relentlessly to thrive in this country, in turn providing me with amazing opportunities. He became a citizen in 2010, and because of his sacrifices, he has motivated me to achieve great things, as he has in his lifetime.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
