Nomination Statement<\/h2>\n
“Son of Rashmi and Mukesh Mittal, Arya is a young man who has always sought the toughest of academic challenges during his high school career. As a member of the Science Olympiad team, the tennis team and being part of the Math League, Arya has continued to grow in all aspects of his life during his high school career. Arya has the great distinction of not only being atop of his graduating class with a 5.29 GPA, but also of achieving a perfect score of 1600 on the SAT. This National Merit Scholar finalist will attend the University of Delaware and major in biology.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
“I believe that it’s important to have trust in myself to succeed in my goals as long as I put in enough effort. And I always have my teachers and my family to support me and help push me to do better. Something I’ve learned from being in school, is to keep a mindset of seeing challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
