Nomination Statement<\/h2>\n

“Jasleen Kaur, the daughter of Sandeep Kaur and Baljit Singh, has earned a cumulative GPA of 4.7480 at Newark High School while participating in several extracurricular activities. In addition to excelling in the hardest courses offered at Newark High School from AP Chemistry to AP U.S. History, she has volunteered at the blood bank and library, served as the co-president of Newark Nature Society, shadowed several physicians and dentists across Delaware, participated in the Delaware Girls’ State and UD Governor’s School leadership programs, and much more. Jasleen aspires to attend medical school and become a pediatric emergency physician”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\u201cMy primary motivator in life has been my mother, whose perseverance and determined attitude have always inspired me to achieve my dreams. My mother always says, ‘You automatically fail if you never try,’ and she has encouraged me to exemplify this principle throughout my academic journey. I have always been passionate about the biological sciences, and I aspire to become a pediatric emergency physician. I know that a long, demanding journey lies ahead of me, but I have learned that dreams unfold in small steps, and if you dedicate years of effort, you will succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
