Nomination Statement<\/h2>\n

“Kayla Jones, daughter of Sherill Jones, exemplifies the attributes of a top scholar. While in attendance at Positive Outcomes Charter School, Kayla’s consistent work ethic and dedication to her schoolwork has allowed her to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher over the course of her high school career. In addition to her academic classes, Kayla interned at Mom’s Daycare, JCPenney Portraits, and Volunteer Delaware. Kayla’s kind and mature personality has allowed her to build strong relationships with both staff and students at Positive Outcomes Charter school. Kayla’s post-secondary goal is to attend college and pursue a career in nursing.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

“Over the course of my life, I have always credited my mom with being my biggest supporter. She is also the one person in my life who has taught me to believe in myself and to always push forward even in times of difficulty. My motivation comes from a general desire to do well and to prepare myself for a bright and fulfilling future.
