Nomination Statement<\/h2>\n

“Courtney, daughter of William and Danielle Candy, is currently ranked 1st in her graduating class. She is a well-rounded student who has excelled both in the classroom and athletics. She is a member of the National Honor Society, AHS cross country team, swim team and secretary of Student Government. Courtney has taken a total of 15 Advanced Placement courses and is recognized by College Board as an AP Scholar with Distinction, Scholar with Honor and a commended student of the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Corporation. In the fall, Courtney will further her studies as a business major.”<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

“I have been inspired to do well by my family. As the youngest sibling, I always looked up to the successes of my siblings and strove to find similar success. I saw my sister balancing AP classes and numerous varsity sports. Simultaneously, I saw my parents working to provide the best for me and my siblings while still making all of our games or meets.
