Nomination Statement
Sarah is the daughter of Richard and Jenny Dawson and she exemplifies the true spirit of “The Concord Way.” She is ranked first in her class with a 4.61 cumulative GPA. She has taken and excelled in all of her honors and Advanced Placement courses throughout her high school career. Two of her greatest accomplishments were becoming an AP Scholar with Distinction and receiving the AP Capstone Diploma. She also participates in Operation Christmas Child every year with her family and donates over 100 boxes. After graduation, Sarah will be attending Kings College to major in political science.
“Growing up my family taught me that success is not luck but that success is a choice. In instilling this ideology, my family has motivated me to try my hardest in all that I do. I do not want to look back and realize that I could have done better or tried harder. I want to look back and know that I gave everything my all and that whether it worked out or not, I have learned from these experiences.”
