Nomination Statement
Scholar of Apryl and William Peppard of Dover, Moon Peppard is an extraordinary student whose academic excellence, artistic leadership and community involvement consistently set them apart. Moon has a 99.53 gpa, highest among 569 seniors, while completing ten AP courses and demonstrating exceptional talent in technical theatre. Moon has assumed increasingly significant leadership roles in school productions, serves as editor in chief of The Rider Eye magazine, has participated in two sports, and earned multiple academic and leadership honors. Their achievements reflect creativity, discipline, and sustained excellence across diverse pursuits. Moon will pursue a degree in technical theatre.

I have never felt more seen and supported than when backstage among my fellow thespians or when seeing a teacher for help. My time in high school has taught me empathy, leadership, and the importance of giving back to a community that’s given so much to me.”
