Nomination Statement
Madeline Piper Bohrer, daughter of Sarah Olsavsky and Kevin Bohrer, ranks second in her graduating class with a 4.426 GPA. She plans to major in Chinese and political science while preparing for a career in law and public service. A dedicated, persistent leader, Madeline serves as captain of the varsity cross country team and also competes in varsity softball and soccer. She volunteers with the Christina School District Chinese Immersion Program and works at Acts Retirement-Life Communities, developing patience, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills. A Distinguished Honor Roll student and All-Conference honoree, she stands out for her commitment and global perspective.

In addition, my experiences in the Chinese Immersion Program have shaped me into who I am today and continue to inspire my future aspirations.
