Nomination Statement
Brett Kennedy, son of Meg and John Kennedy, is the salutatorian at Conrad Schools of Science. Brett excels academically, as well as athletically as a varsity and club swimmer. He is active with the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa NHS, and Math League; and has participated in programs including Boys State, and a research internship at the University of Delaware. Brett plans to study computer engineering in college, and is considering which university would be the best fit. After graduating, he aspires to apply his knowledge about emerging fields to real world innovations that will make a positive impact
“Beyond academics, I was a four-year varsity swimmer, serving as team captain this year and earning All-Conference and All-State honors. I also attended Boys State this past summer. I plan to study computer engineering with an interest in cybersecurity, drawn to its technical rigor and challenge. My hardworking parents have been a constant source of motivation and inspiration in pursuing my goals.”
