Nomination Statement
Angeline Connelly is characterized by her teachers and peers as: intelligent, industrious, and artistic. During Angeline’s attendance at Positive Outcomes Charter School, Angeline has excelled academically; setting a high standard of academic excellence for herself and her peers. As a student, Angeline successfully achieved high honor roll all four years of high school, held office as a DCA officer, attended several internships, and completed college courses. Angeline has shown to be a natural leader amongst her peers. Angeline’s hobbies include: photography, art, creative writing, chess, and spending time in nature. She will attend Goldey Beacom this upcoming fall.
“I have a passion for learning. Ever since I was young, I have always enjoyed learning new things and pushing myself to the intellectual limit. I am in love with the moment when something clicks and I understand something. I also love using my knowledge to help others, because I know that learning is harder for others than it is for me. Everyday, whether it be from people, books, or shows, I will strive to learn something new so I can grow as a person.”
