Nomination Statement
Alex Pusey, son of Eric and Stacey Pusey, is a dedicated student and accomplished Kung Fu practitioner. In the information technology career pathway, he ranks 2nd in his class with a 4.46 GPA. He has challenged himself with dual-enrollment courses and is completing a co-op with American Spirit Credit Union. Alex competed on the indoor and spring track and field teams, participating in the long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and 100-meter dash. A National Honor Society member, he volunteers at the Brandywine SPCA. Alex plans to major in computer science and hopes to study abroad.
“I've always had big dreams. I want to do more. To be more. And I know to do that I have to learn as much as I can and be open to new ideas. My education is the key to opportunities — some I can't even predict right now. But if I keep learning and growing, I will be ready to change the world.”
