Nomination Statement
Adiel Gonzalez, son of Jose and Mariela Gonzalez of Seaford, is a goal-oriented, focused, and motivated young man. He ranks second in his class with a 99.43 GPA and has earned A’s in every course at Sussex Tech. An outstanding baseball player, he serves as a peer Leader, competes in Math League, tutors through the Techademic Coaching Program, and participates in SkillsUSA Automotive. He plans to become a mechanical engineer specializing in automotive design. Adiel volunteers with Perdue Farms community cleanups and local hospitals, always demonstrating kindness, optimism, and leadership. He exemplifies integrity, perseverance, and dedication in all endeavors daily.

This mindset has taught me that limits are meant to be challenged; every problem has its own solution. Instead of seeing obstacles as setbacks, I believe they are simply new opportunities to grow. I owe it to the support of my parents and friends for teaching me that you can always pave your own path.”
