Nomination Statement
Daughter of Ana Luisa Guzman and Jacob Cuba, Samantha is an outstanding example of a well-rounded student, in and out of the classroom. While carrying a 5.19 GPA and being Conrad's class of 2025 salutatorian, Samantha also achieved being a proud member of the Latino Unidos Student Summit, where she was able to assist in running a very successful event for them, an accomplished ballerina and an instructor for children, as well as a memeber of the 1st Generation scholars program. Samantha will attend the University of Delaware in the fall, majoring in medical diagnostics.
“The best way to find yourself and purpose in life is by losing yourself in the service of others. Always having my teachers by my side presenting me volunteer opportunities has allowed me to expand my knowledge. With the support of many people, I have been able to bring representation to my community and pride to the people who have supported me. Learning to always continue pushing forward because nothing is impossible in this world when you believe in yourself”
