Nomination Statement
Naim Joseph is an intelligent, hard-working student who stands out as a leader academically and socially. He has demonstrated maturity, competence, and a sense of responsibility. He strives for excellence in every facet of his life. His academics are self-explanatory as he maintains his 3.9 GPA while being heavily involved with Jobs for Delaware Graduates (JDG). Naim has set his sights on attending Delaware State University majoring in hospitality and tourism management to, one day, run a chain of hotels.
“While pursuing my dreams, I have met a lot of people who have helped me to get to where I am now. No. 1 would be my parents, no matter what I wanted to do in my career field they have supported it 100 percent. When chasing your dreams, there can be obstacles and at times my resolve begins to waver, but whether it be love, fear, or obsession, they have all prepared me for today.”
