Nomination Statement
Daughter of Pat and Tam, Milan Tran is a reserved, focused, and professional individual who embraces adversity with resilience and strength. She strives for excellence in all she does. Milan set her standard of excellence early on in her educational career. She set forth a plan to excel, and she has done nothing less than that. She excelled in the EdRising competition while maintaining a 4.0 average in one of our newer career areas. She is a true testament to the Howard Way.
“My mother taught me everything, and although she always said she would be proud of me no matter what, I always chose to work harder and be better because I wanted to give back to her. She is the pride in everything I do and I want her to have something to be proud of. She taught me to do what I love and love what I do, and then work will never actually be work, but a passion.”
